A FUNDING fair designed to provide community groups with advice on how to raise money is taking place in Kendal.
As well as workshops, stalls and the opportunity to book individual advice sessions, the fair will also be attended by representatives from a number of grant-giving bodies including the National Lottery Charities Board, South Lakeland District Council and Cumbria Community Foundation.
The workshops cost £2 and include Robert Cohen speaking about media strategies for voluntary groups, and Alan Lawrie talking about how to plan projects.
The fair is taking place on February 7 at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, from 10.30am-4pm, and is free to everyone who would like to attend.
