ONE of the country's best-loved orchestras pays a visit to the region next month.
Conducted by Italian Gianandrea Noseda, the worldwide renowned BBC Philharmonic performs Macbeth and Dances from Der Rosenkavalier, both by Richard Strauss, plus Brahms' second piano concerto with distinguished Argentinian soloist Nelson Goerner on Saturday, February 10 (7.30pm), at Kendal's Westmorland Hall.
A member of the popular ensemble will give a free pre-concert talk on Macbeth at 6.30pm.
The performance is part of the Lakeland Sinfonia Concert Society series.
Tickets from Tim Keegan on 01539-722533.
