Pianist Darius Brubeck, the son of Dave Brubeck brings the year back to life this week in a performance titled 1959: The Beginning of Beyond.

Accompanied by some of the finest talent in contemporary British jazz, Brubeck will celebrate the "annus mirabilis" of 1959 at The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, on Friday, January 19.
