BUS users in North Lancashire who are blind or physically handicapped can continue to take advantage of the 30 pence flat rate for their journeys.
Lancashire County Council's highways and transportation and social services committee decided to maintain the present system as it was a better deal for concessionary passengers than the half fare prescribed by the Government's transport act.
