DANGER of potentially lethal letter-bombs being sent to people connected with agriculture is still real, according to police in North Yorkshire.
The warning follows several recent incidents where letter-bombs were sent to people connected with agriculture in North Yorkshire, Cheshire and East Yorkshire.
Officer in overall charge of the investigation is north Yorkshire deputy chief constable Peter Walker who is working closely with officers in other forces.
he urged the public, particularly those in agriculture to treat their incoming mail with caution, especially unexpected items or unidentified packets.
Anyone with information about letter-bomb attacks should call Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
