THE numbers of domestic burglary and vehicle crime reported to Lancashire Police in 1999/2000 are both down on last year's figures.
The county's Police Authority annual report shows that for the second year in a row, the number of people affected by vehicle crime has reduced by more than 2,500 and the number of victims of domestic burglary has dropped by more than 1,500.
The number of violent crimes recorded in the county has dropped by 689, and there have been less incidents of disorder and anti-social behaviour.
