THE Royal National Institute for the Blind is organising a walk across Morecambe Bay on May 19, to raise money for a music break.
The break, which will take place in Blackpool in May, will give 20 blind and visually impaired people from the North West, who have always felt that they would like to learn to play a musical instrument, but who have never had the opportunity or been able to find a tutor willing to teach them, the chance to do so.
The three-hour walk to Grange-over-Sands, led by Queen's guide Cedric Robinson, will start at 3.30pm from Arnside Promenade.
The entry fee of £2.50 covers return coach travel from Grange back to Arnside.
Entry forms can be obtained from Keith Ainsworth on 01524-424320.
