THE winds of change could be blowing through the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands next month.
Local authorities are keen to hear from members of the public whose fresh ideas could help shape the future of Grange.
A series of meetings hosted by Cumbria County Council in partnership with Grange Town Council and South Lakeland District Council will be held in venues around the town during the first week of February.
CCC neighbourhood development officer Dianne Whitehead said all views would be welcome.
"We are asking people what they think of their community and how they would like to see it develop.
It is about gathering those good sensible ideas from people about the place in which they live."And to avoid the need for public speaking there will be an 'ideas pot' at every meeting.
Meetings will be held on February 1, at 2pm at Grange Library; February 2, at 10am at St Paul's Parish Hall; February 5, at 7.30pm, Grange Hotel; and February 8, at Grange Primary School, at 7.30pm.
