SEVERE frost decimated the Furness football programme yet again.
Only one game was played in the ASDA Logic West Lancashire League and it produced the first Premier Division win of the season for Vickers SC who beat Leyland Motors Athletic 2-1 at Thurston Road, the Lancashire FA headquarters.
In the Furness Premier League, only one game took place in the Premier Division, Swarthmoor SC visiting Nautical's Tummerhill ground and going down 2-1 to the league leaders.
Chris Price scored for the villagers with Nigel Holmes and Mike Austin netting for the Walney side.
All Division One games were postponed and in Division Two there was just one played, Barrow Celtic Reserves beating barrow Rangers Youth 5-1.
The Premier Tiles Horne Cup produced a goalless draw between Bootle Reserves and Crooklands Casuals at Millholme.
Furness FA Junior Cup action saw Kirkby United travel to Wilson park to meet Haverigg Reserves where they came away with a 3-1 win through Lee Coburn, Steve Croasdale and Neil Grant.
Gem Piper was the home scorer.
Millom Reserves 16-year-old keeper is recovering after breaking his ankle in last week's game against Kirkby United.
