IF YOU know somebody who is blind or partially-sighted, young or old, who deserves a holiday, then South Lakeland Voluntary Society for the Blind would like to hear from you.
Kendal Lions have donated a holiday at Seacroft Holiday Centre, Norfolk, to the society, which supports blind and partially-sighted people.
The society is now seeking nominations so it can choose who should receive the holiday, which is half-board for seven nights, between May 19 and 26, for one person and their carer, who must be responsible for the individual's needs throughout the holiday.
All transport will be provided.
Holiday organisers would be pleased to receive children as well as older people.
If you know of somebody who deserves the holiday, write stating their case, to South Lakeland Voluntary Society for the Blind, Stricklandgate House, Kendal, LA9 4PU.
Letters must be received by the end of February.
For further information contact the society on 01539-726613.
