A 'FOSTERING bus' is to hit the streets of Barrow this weekend in a drive to find more foster parents for local children.
"It's helpful to young people to keep community, school and friendship links.
That's why it's so important for Furness children to have Furness parents," said Councillor Nick Findley, chairman of Cumbria County Council's social services committee.
The fostering van will be parked on Dalton road in Barrow today (Friday) and on Saturday to provide information and advice about being a foster carer.
