LEGISLATION which could outlaw hunting with dogs last week took a major step forward when MPs voted overwhelmingly for a ban.
With the bill now due to be considered in the House of Lords, the Gazette found out how MPs representing South Lakeland, north Lancashire and Furness had voted on the issue.
This is how they would vote: MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale Tim Collins - Self Regulation; MP for Barrow and Furness John Hutton - Ban; MP for Morecambe and Lonsdale Geraldine Smith - Ban.
