EYE-catching posters designed to stop bullies in their track are on display in local buses to help raise the profile of the problem.
Youth crime group SLIPSTREAM hopes the posters on the inside and outside of local Stagecoach buses will encourage victims of bullying - and possibly the bullies themselves - to speak out and seek support.
The group of 14-18 year-olds have been awarded just over £10,000 by the Princes Trust M-Power to enable it to carry out a number of projects, including the anti-bullying campaign.
To help drive the message home, SLIPSTREAM have also invited a Huddersfield-based theatre group to visit secondary schools in South Lakeland to deliver an anti-bullying performance to pupils.
They will also run workshops relating to the play, encouraging students to discuss issues relating to bullying.
The SLIPSTREAM mentoring group - members who are working towards achieving an open college qualification in mentoring - will assist the Cragrats in the delivery of the workshops.
