GLAXO displayed admirable defensive resilience before finally going down 3-0 to table-toppers Crewe Vagrants in the North West Men's League at the weekend.
In-form Vagrants are on a winning streak, but Glaxo goalkeeper Paul Cable denied them with three superb saves in the early exchanges.
Glaxo then began to match their opponents' passing game to threaten the Vagrants goal but could not break the deadlock.
Instead Vagrants went ahead with 15 minutes left and then added two late goals to add a flattering look to the final scoreline.
