DICK Whittington was this year's pantomime choice for Storth Entertainers.
The enthusiasm of the cast carried the slick show along.
If anyone has to be singled out it must be Marie Herron as Idle Jack.
Contrary to her name, Marie entered the part with fun and gusto.
Pantomime dame Robert Robinson, added colour and humour.
Amy Redman was a very lovable cat.
And mention must be made of Bill Seville who admirably stepped in for the village hall production at the last minute as Alderman Fitzgerald in place of Dave Green, who is ill.
The very young and well-dressed chorus was a delight.
Helen Thompson, who, for the first time directed, must have been well pleased with the way the pantomime was received.
