IF YOU'RE looking for contemporary interior accessories, check out one of the region's rising young glass makers.
Jo Vincent is riding high at Kendal's Wave Gallery, with her new collection of wall panels, mirrors, vessels, and lighting, hand made from glass using kiln forming processes.
Jo's work certainly packs a punch - dynamic and sharp, strong colours and geometric forms.
"I'm inspired by time spent travelling around in rural and urban environments," she claims.
"On foot, by car or train, I record architecture, patterns, rhythms and continuous shifts in landscape."
One of her latest projects has been working with a local landscape design company developing glass products for the outdoors.
As a result in May, she launched her outdoor glass paving tiles at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Wave is open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm, Saturday, 9.30am-5.30pm.
