EIGHTEEN members of the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team went to the assistance of a woman who had sustained a broken wrist after falling on Loughrigg Terrace, near Ambleside, on Monday afternoon.
The 65-year-old, from the Bradford area, was stretchered off the fell and taken to Westmorland General Hospital for treatment.
On Tuesday, the team were called out to Orrest Head, Windermere, to help an 11-year-old boy from the York area who had fallen and gashed his knee.
He was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.
