THWAITES Lancashire Cup holders Netherfield face a rematch with last year's finalists Ormskirk in the semi-finals of this year's competition.
Netherfield won through to the last four by beating Leigh from the Liverpool Competition by 54 runs at Parkside Road on Sunday.
The quarter-final tie featured Netherfield's ex-pro Pakistani Iqbal Sikander, and the 42-year-old leg spinner took a wicket in his opening over.
Leigh were always struggling, however, in pursuit of Netherfield's formidable score of 323 for five.
South African pro Pieter Sytrydom hit 95 and Grahame Clark 52 with some blistering hitting.
Netherfield could afford to be a little casual in the field, dropping a handful of easy catches after Leigh were reduced to 105-5 in reply.
It meant they had to wait until the 45th and final over before the visitors were all out for 178 with two balls left.
Ormskirk beat Blackpool in the other semi-final - posting 170-9 with their opponents 158-8 in reply.
