Young wildlife-lovers should wing it along to the RSPB's Leighton Moss nature reserve near Carnforth for two action-packed activity weeks during the summer school holidays.
This year's theme for the week is the swift, and activities will include looking at birds on the reserve, walking in the reedbed, looking at minibeasts, pond-dipping, a scavenger hunt and puppet-making.
Wildlife Discovery Weeks will be held from August 13-17 and August 20-24.
All children must be eight or over, and booking is essential.
Call the reserve on 01524-701601.
