CUMBERLAND skipper Martin Lewis is out the county's next Minor Counties Championship three-day match against Staffordshire at Stone starting on Sunday.
Lewis broke a thumb batting in the 128-run defeat by Cambridgeshire at Parkside.
He still aims to be at the three-day game with Steve Kbnnox taking the captaincy on the field.
Unavailability and injuries leave Cumberland struggling to get a side together, but opening bowler Marcus Sharp is set to return after missing the last match.
