POLICE could take action over people who jump from Backbarrow Bridge into the River Leven.
Officers took the details of 30 people who were congregating at the bridge over the weekend, and may seek prosecutions under a bylaw.
Police say the practice is dangerous and there have been injuries in the past.
POLICE are also warning people to be careful at Greenodd Estuary after receiving reports of youngsters using dinghies in the area.
Officers said the area is very dangerous, with lethal tides and quicksand.
