THE Lakes School Orchestra is revelling in the success of a tour to Spain's Tossa de Mar.
Thirty-five students teamed-up with five others from John Ruskin School for the week-long tour as part of a school activity week.
The young musicians gave three public performances, including one in a church in Barcelona.
The audience was on its feet after the Barcelona concert: "We've never had a full standing ovation before," said one delighted student.
As well as performing, students experienced a spot of Spanish culture, art in particular, visiting the Gaudi buildings and sculptures in Barcelona, and the Dali museum at Figueras.
