South Lakeland's comprehensive events guide What's On has had a re-launch to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
The magazine, which helps to promote local events, has been given a completely new look and has also benefited from a £3,500 grant from 'Spirit of Cumbria'
funders to support its production during the foot-and-mouth crisis.
The re-launch at Brantwood, on the shores of Coniston, provided an opportunity for the tourism unit of South Lakeland District Council, which produces the guide, to
officially thank the sponsors.
Brantwood, Coniston Launch, Levens Hall and the Windermere Lakes Cruises have been sponsors of the guide for the past few years and this year have been joined by K Village Outlet Centre and the National Trust's Gondola.
Jenny Kelly, editor of the What's On in Central & Southern Lakeland guide, said seven issues of the guide are published a year and up to 15,000 copies printed per issue.
