THOUSANDS of music fans are gearing up for a festival to remember as Edenfest 2001 takes off next Friday.
Three days of unmissable live music promise to attract festival-goers in their droves to the Deer Park, Brougham, near Penrith.
The event has evolved from last year's Eden Millennium Festival, which attracted more than 20,000 revellers.
Money from this year's event will be poured into the Cumbria Community Recovery Fund Appeal.
The festival kicks off at 7pm on Friday with cool jazz from big names Kenny Ball and his Jazz Men, and Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band.
Headlining Saturday will be Feeder.
The Bluetones are the main support with special guests The Dum Dums and Tarras, as well as local bands.
Saturday's programme features family fun activities, before tribute bands take over on Sunday, with Backbeat Beatles, T.Rextasy, Abbamax, The Police Force and Queen B.
