Netherfield restricted Leyland to 159-6 and knocked off the runs for the loss of three wickets.
Kendal like to chase a target and did not relish first use of the Fleetwood wicket much.
Only Terry Hunte with 50 made an impact as they were dismissed for 157.
Fleetwood pro Craig Pryor hit 73 and Bob Denning 31 not out as the home side won by five wickets.
Both Netherfield and Kendal won in the Slater Cup on Sunday to set up a semi-final meeting between the two clubs at Shap Road on Sunday, August 19.
