KENDAL A fell short in their run chase against Lancaster in the Westmorland Junior League's U13 semi-finals.
Lancaster set a target of 75-5 with Sam Johnson retiring on 200.
Kendal, who had beaten these opponents in the last U13 final, bowed out six runs short with only Sam Barton retiring on 21 with seven wickets down.
An Andy hill hat-trick for Heysham put paid to Sedbergh in the other semi-final.
Hill's three wickets came for only three runs and team-mate James Whincup returned 5-5 as Sedbergh.
