VOLUNTEERS are needed to help repair some of the shoreline paths around Stickle Tarn in the Langdale Valley and carry out scrub clearance on Hutton Roof.
The British Trust for Volunteers is leading the work next week, on August 20, 21 and 22, to stabilise the path surface and landscape the surrounding area at the tarn, and clear scrub and small trees from sections of limestone pavement on Hutton Roof.
