LAST week 1,000 visitors beat a path to Kendal Museum to see its latest archeological offering, Tracking Dinosaurs.
Kendal museum is the only stop in the North West for the touring exhibition curated by the National Museum of Wales.
Since its opening at the end of July, the 190 million-year-old fossils have had the public vying for more.
The museum has seen attendance figures double in what is a very difficult time for tourism.
The informative panel exhibition examines dinosaur footprints and footways from T-Rex to bird-like dinosaurs, revealing information about the creatures' evolution, how they walked, their weight and if they had young.
Also on display are fossils of dinosaur footprints.
A three-foot-long cast of a T-Rex footprint has been very popular.
