ONE of Kendal's most overlooked shopping zones could soon be sporting a brand new look if plans to rejuvenate the area get off the ground.
In a bid to boost visitor numbers and win back passing trade, retailers in Kirkland are being encouraged to give their properties a facelift.

Although retailers will have to foot the bill for the revamp themselves, the Kirkland Partnership hopes a planned approach could result in a more co-ordinated look for the area and save shop owners money by bulk buying services.
