Paul Hogan makes his third big screen outing as the loveable hero from Down Under in the new comedy adventure Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
The film marks the return of Mick Dundee's droll humour after a 13-year absence, and sees our hero once more swapping the quiet life of the Australian bush for the hustle and bustle of southern California.
Mick accidentally gets caught up in an investigation by his journalist partner Sue, setting the stage for an extended series of 'croc-out-of-water' moments that poke fun at Los Angeles' lifestyle from an outsider's point of view.
Hogan had repeatedly stated there would not be another instalment of Mick Dundee, but over the years he says he actually began to miss the larger-than-life character.
"For probably the last three years, I've been saying that if I woke up with a really good idea, then maybe I might make it," he laughs.
"And here we are.
This time, Mick thinks he's a bit more cosmopolitan because he's spent a month in New York, but of course he's really still exactly the same."
