THE Wild West is coming to Broughton-in-Furness and visitors can ride the rodeo bull and tuck into a hog-roast.
The Wild West Country Fair is being held tomorrow (Saturday) as the Millom and Broughton Agricultural Show had to be cancelled because of the foot-and-mouth outbreak.
Stalls are being set up in Victory Hall where local produce will be sold, and the rodeo and assault course will be at the Kepplewray site.
" This event has been organised to get people off their farms and sell their produce, and to bring more people to the area to help recoup some of the losses suffered by all businesses since February," said Jan Nicholson.
The event starts at 12 noon and continues until 5pm.
It will be followed in the evening by a dance at Victory Hall.
