Kendal Town - 2 Eastwood Town - 3.
After just 10 minutes Eastwood were reduced to 10 men when mark Smith head butted Simon Woodward, but that did not deter the visitors who hammered three goals into lack luster Kendal Town before half time.
On 27 minutes a complete shambles saw defenders standing off striker Craig Wilson who easily rounded keeper Cyril Sharrock's clumsy attempt to get out and smother the danger.
Ten minutes later Town were rocked by a well-worked run down the wing by right-back Carl Bacon whose cross looked like evading everyone until David Davies launched himself in a diving header which gave Sharrock no chance.
With seconds to go to half time Wilson caught them with a carbon copy of his opening goal outsmarting defender Dave Burrow and again rounded the advancing Sharrock to run the ball into the net.
Diggle gave Kendal cause for hope when he seized on a bouncing ball and lofted it neatly over the keeper to make the score 3-1 after 57 minutes and when Wilson was red-carded for flattening Lee Pennington on 70 minutes Kendal had every chance to get on terms, but a chance was squanderdd when Dave Foster was blatantly pulled down inside the box and Ian Vickers thumped the penalty several yards wide of the right hand post.
On 89 minutes Archbold reduced the arrears to 3-2 with a long free-kick which netted on the second bounce, but the final push for an equalizer escaped them.
