AN Ulverston pub which is pulling pints again for the first time in more than three years, is packing people in after only a week.
The landlady of the The Grapes in Market Street in Ulverston, Anne Nelson, has also taken over the licence of the Old Farmhouse in Priory Road.
After a complete refurbishment, the pub opened for business for the first time in more than three years.
Following a busy Bank Holiday weekend, Mrs Nelson said the pub, owned by the Manchester-based company, In Partnership, was going to do well.
Mrs Nelson said: "The first week has gone really well and it seems to be starting to calm down a little now, but it is always quiet after Bank Holiday.
We have had lots of people in and many of them said that they enjoyed their meal, liked the place and would be coming back.
We just hope it continues to do well."
Mrs Nelson plans to build a small play area in the grounds of the pub next year if business continues to do well.
