KENDAL returned to North Lancashire League action with a comfortable 13-6 win over Fleetwood.
With a strong nucleus to the side, Kendal continued the education of younger players Ryan Fothergill and Anthony Munday with longer pool time, while a superb individual performance by Myles Little literally sunk the home side.
Leading 2-0 after the first quarter through Little and Peter Hetherington, Kendal stamped their authority on the match with three more goals from Little and one from Darren Gibson for a 6-2 half-time lead.
Kendal managed only a solitary score while Fleetwood added another two goals in the second half and the visitors used their fitness and teamwork to the maximum in the final quarter.
Fleetwood scored twice more, these scores were cancelled out for Kendal with efforts from Gibson and Joe Speakman while another four goals from Little took his personal tally to nine to seal victory.
