AN UNBEATEN Easter kept spirits up in the Kendal Town camp that they can drag themselves clear of trouble at the foot of Unibond League Division 1.
Town boss Pete Smith said: "Before playing Workington on Monday, I would have said we definitely needed three points, but for us to go a goal behind and only get an equaliser in the last couple of minutes, then I've got to be happy about that.
"At the end of day we haven't lost ground to them and Farsley Celtic just above us got beat, and we know it's up to us now to get something from every match.
"When you look at our current record we've won five of the last 12, drawn 3 and lost four... and the sides around us aren't showing that sort of form.
"That should give us confidence in the attacking football we go out to play.
"We're creating five or six chances each match but not taking them, but the lads are keeping their heads up and the supporters who have coming down have been a tremendous help to the side."
Smith recruited striker Ian Lunt from Radcliffe Borough as cover up front last week and Smith's squad now face a trip to mid-table North Ferriby United on Saturday before returning to Parkside to play 10th-placed Rossendale United on Wednesday.
(7.30pm kick-off).
