A FIXTURE mix-up with the Rugby Football Union has left Kendal changing plans hurriedly as they bring forward their final fixture - at home against Newbury - to this Saturday instead of in a week's time as planned.
The Newbury curtain-closer was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 20 and was published in Kendal's Membership Card as such.
This weekend was due to be kept separate for the Premiership clubs' cup final.
But the date for that match was put back and confusion in receiving the message from HQ leaves Kendal with having to fulfil the fixture at shorter notice than planned.
The Newbury game will be part of a full National League 2 programme on Saturday and kicks off at 3pm.
