A number of South Lakeland businesses enjoyed success at a recent meet the buyer event.
Giftware and food firms were given the chance to show off their wares to retail outlets based along Hadrian's Wall.
The event, organised as part of a programme to promote the world heritage site, aimed to encourage the sale of more locally made items from visitor and information centres, shops and galleries in both Cumbria and Northumberland.
Among the firms taking part was David Baxter (pictured) of Dane Stone Cards of Ulverston, which introduced a new range of postcards featuring Roman and traditional recipes and scenes from along the wall.
Fieldhead Crafts of Grange-over-Sands showed off a range of pewter mirrors, frames and key rings based on Roman designs, while Sue Batholomew and Abigail Jacobs, both from Ambleside, displayed Roman-style pottery.
Several firms were represented by Made in Cumbria officer Nik Schofield, who said: "We always welcome every opportunity to encourage retailers to stock locally produced giftware and foods.
"The Cumbrian companies offered a good selection of products and many had developed ranges specifically with a Roman or Hadrian's Wall theme."
Made in Cumbria, which promotes craft and giftware companies, is a county council-backed initiative.
