A DOUBLE whammy of top-quality performers is booked in at The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, this weekend.
The Blue Shoes with Snake Davis and Jim Diamond is first up up tomorrow (Satuirday).
Jim Diamond, famed for the likes of Hi Ho Silver and Shoulda Known Better, will team up with Snake Davis, top saxophonist in demand by major artists including the likes of Paul McCartney, Cher and M-people.
Together they stamp their own mark on classics by Diamond, Ray Charles and Lennon/McCartney.
On Sunday, the Brewery branches out into real Jazz Funk with the Brazilian Trio Azymuth.
Expect strong melodic hooks and insistent rhythms without clichs of carnival mayhem.
You'll kick yourselves if you miss out.
