FIVE of the hottest young contemporary fiddle players from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, making up the musical phenomenon Blazin' Fiddles, will be setting Penrith's Ullswater Community College alight next Tuesday night.
The band was formed in 1998, at a time when Scottish fiddle music was being overshadowed by Cape Breton and Irish fiddle music, to show the world that Scottish fiddle music was alive and kicking.
Tickets are available from Penrith's Bluebell Bookshop or call Eden Arts on 01768-899444.
