FANS are being urged to flock to Parkside on Saturday to support Kendal Town's last-ditch bid to stay in the UniBond League.
The clash with Matlock Town is the final home match of the season and only a win will give Town a fighting chance of survival.
Club secretary Craig Campbell said: "We are fighting for our UniBond League survival and we want people to get behind the team for this vital match."
Town manager Peter Smith, deeply dissappointed with recent missed scoring chances which have cost Kendal dear when they appeared to be on course for survival, said: "The situation is now simple - we have to win all three of our last games."
He said that over the past two months the team has shown that it could compete with anyone in the First Division and he felt that the task of staying up was still within their grasp.
Stocksbrige and Belper Town, the two teams immediately above Kendal have games in hand, so the prime target for Town is fifth-from-bottom.
Farsley Celtic, who play Belper, immediately below them in the table, on Saturday.
Should Town win and Farsley lose there will be just one point between the two sides, making for a possible last day of the season nail-biter as the two teams meet at Farsley on May 3.
Before that, Kendal are away to Ossett Town on Saturday April 27, while Farsley entertain Matlock.
