YOUNG Farmers from Cumbria returned triumphant from a visit to Edge Hill College in Orkmskirk where 150 of them competed.
Alex Gibson from Crook YFC came first in the Situation Vacant contest senior section and Kieren Armer, also from Crook, came third in the intermediates.
Crook's Alex Gibson and Drigg's debating team will now go on to compete in the national public speaking competition in Warwickshire in August.
