FRIENDS of the Earth are holding a public meeting and debate on finding a sustainable future for farming in Kendal on May 3.
The meeting, at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, will focus on the farming industry after the Curry Report and discuss what future there is for small and family farms in Britain.
The speakers will be Sean Rickard from the Cranfield School of Management and a former NFU chief economist, and Tony Juniper from Friends of the Earth.
