HISTORY was made this week as the wraps came off Kendal's all new traffic system.
There were no bumps or pileups but as commuter traffic kicked in bottlenecks and delays were the order of the day for many.
Following the first major changes to the one way system since its introduction in April 1968, pedestrians and shop keepers looked on from the sidelines while assistant editor Gillian Cowburn did her very own test run.
