CARNFORTH could soon have a twin town, after councillors decided to set up a sub-committee to look into the possibility of developing European links.
Clerk to the town council John Pratt said following a letter from Sailly sur la Lys, a French town near the Belgian border, councillors were keen to explore the opportunity.
