KILLINGTON windsurfers were met with torrential rain and a force four wind, but as they reached the start line the rain stopped and unfortunately so did the wind.
The three races held in a light breeze proved to be very close with Mike Hardy winning the first race and Dan Jackson the second.
All depended on the last race and Hardy initially took the lead chased by Phil Atherton.
At the penultimate gybe, Hardy dropped his sail and Atherton went past to take the race and became the overall winner for the first time this season.
