THREE people remain in intensive care at Furness General Hospital suffering from Legionnaires disease.
Ian Cumming, chief executive of Morecambe Bay Hospitals NHS Trust, said one of those patients was "giving particular cause for concern".
Five other people remain in hospital, one is said to be "poorly and improving" and the others were described as " comfortable".
The death toll from the outbreak still stands at five people with one unconfirmed disease fatality.
