THERE will be a chance to get up close and personal to of the most influential bands of the 90s when they performing in an intimate club environment this weekend.
The Malt room at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, will play host to genre-hopping group Carmel tomorrow (Saturday).
Carmel first exploded onto the international stage with a series of top 20 hits including Bad Day and More, more, more followed up by their debut album The Falling.
Original band members Jim Parris and Carmel McCourt are now working together again with an eight-piece group of musicians.
Their influences range from soul, gospel, blues, reggae and jazz.
Expect a flavoursome showcase of musical styles featuring material spanning the decades.
