A LANCASTER teenager who made it to the final of the Audi Design Foundation National Young designer of the year award was unsuccessful in her bid to clinch the title.
Lorna Kelly, 18, qualified for a place in the final in Newcastle last weekend (Sep 21) after winning a regional heat in Grange with her design for a travel hairdryer.
The art and design student at Lancaster and Morecambe College said she had enjoyed the competition despite not winning the title.
