Marie Curie fundraisers are calling for people of all ages to lace up their boots and get walking.
On October 6, the Bowland Visitor Centre, Beacon Fell, will see volunteers tramping round a six-mile circuit in aid of the cancer nursing charity.
Starting at 11am the six-mile walk is expected to take between two to three hours.
