AT the aged of 12, Rebecca A.
Reilly, who lives in Ambleside, became the youngest Black-belt 1st Dan at Kendal Shotokan Karate Club on her first attempt.
Rebecca achieved the feat at a black-belt grading under the world's top Japanese Shotokan Karate instructor, Sensei K.
Enoeda (8th Dan), at Barnsley.
Sensei Enoeda was highly impressed with the way in which Rebecca took charge of her grading and opponents from start to finish.
Anyone interested in taking up Shotokan Karate can contact instructor Sonu Mana (Kendal 724746) for further details.
